- Get ready with all the ingredients that you will need to make the soda bread. This recipe takes only five minutes. In a bowl mix the milk with the lemon juice.
- Meanwhile in a mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients together, both flour, salt, bicarbonate of soda. And finally add the golden syrup.
- Turn the oven to 180C. Add the water into the milk. Stir with a spoon and pour the liquid into the flour mix. Stir with a spoon (wooden or tablespoons). I have added a few wild garlic flowers. I like the taste and you can find them everywhere at the moment.
- Grease generously a loaf tin and put the mix into the tin. Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes. Leave the bread on a cooling rack. Slice the bread!
