  3. Take a serving plate. Put some vadas on it. Pour sweetened curd as per choice. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder and black salt as per taste. Apply dates tamarind chutney. Put some arils of pomegranate, salted boondi. Garnish with coriander.

Dahi Vadas are lentil dumplings dipped in yogurt and topped with spicy savory tamarind chutney. I tried dahi vada, but it turned out bland because there was no saltin the vada only in yogurt.
