  1. Take a pan/ kadhai on medium flame add ghee, boiled dal. Saute it.
  2. Saute till golden, add jaggery. Mix it well and let jaggery dissolve.
  3. Grate the nutmeg. Add to the mixture.
  4. Mix it well and let evaporate the jaggery water. Now add cardamom powder. Mash some dal.
  5. Mix it and saute it well and get a thick mixture. Knead the dough without salt. Take a lemon size dough. Wrap it in dry flour.
  6. Roll it like poori. Put 2 tbsp of stuffing. Seal the dough.
  7. Sprinkle some dry flour. Roll it again.
  8. Take griddle/ tava on medium flame. Place the pooran Podi on tava. When podi cook from one side and flip it.
  9. Put ghee on podi, spread the ghee and toast is from both the sides.
  10. Cut the podi and serve hot.

Dry roast coconut till the moisture leaves. Grind channa dal with jaggery to a coarse mixture- Use the pulse option in ur mixie and press it on and off, dont make it a paste.
