  1. Take 500 gm rice
  2. Make ready 250 gm sweet corn
  3. Take 750 gm tomatoes
  4. Take 1 tsp garlic paste

  7. Prepare 1 black cardamom
  8. Make ready 1 tsp cumin seeds

  13. Prepare 1 tsp red chili powder
  14. Take to taste Salt
  15. Make ready 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
  16. Take 5-6 saffron Strands soaked in 3tsp warm milk
  17. Make ready 2 tsp Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
  18. Take As needed Water

Here I have added some green peas but this is optional. Sweet corn pulao recipe with video and steps I make Corn Pulao often atleast once a week for mittu alone as she loves sweet corn and this pulao is her favorite. Mittu loves any white pulao like veg pulao , peas pulao etc…. You can even add methi,peas along with corn for this pulao.

Instructions to make Sweet corn Pulao:
  1. Wash and soak rice. for 10 minutes In sauce pan add 1cup water. Once the water starts to boil, add the tomatoes and let it immerse in the water and blanch for about 2 minutes.You can see the skin starts to tear it open. - Once done, add the tomatoes into the cold water. Let it cool down. Once it cools down, remove the skin. And make a puree.
  2. Boil the sweet corn kernels and keep them aside
  3. In large heavy bottom pot add oil whole spices once it crackles add garlic paste and saute now add finely chopped onions and saute for 1 minutes now add tomato puree and soya sauce and mix well
  4. Now drain water from rice. Now mix it in the tomato puree. cook rice in tomato puree add salt and red chili powder and mix it well. add water if needed
  5. Once the rice cooked. Add sweet corn coriander leaves chopped capsicum and saffron milk and mix well. Sweet corn pulav is ready to serve
