  2. Prepare 2 Onion chopped
  3. Prepare 2 tsp Garlic paste

  8. Make ready 1 cup Curd

  13. Make ready 2 tbsp kasuri methi
  14. Make ready 4 tbsp oil
  15. Make ready 1 tsp cumin powder
  16. Take 1 tsp garam masala powder
  17. Get 6 cashew nuts paste

Gradually stir in milk, cooking and stirring constantly with wire whisk, until mixture boils and thickens. This chicken divan recipe from Paula Deen is a classic comfort food casserole. Ingredients include broccoli, cream of mushroom soup and cheddar cheese. I know that Chicken Divan does not have rice in it, but the rice would add a nice nutty texture and flavor, while absorbing some of the excess salt.

  2. Heat oil in a kadai add onion cook for 5 minutes, then add garlic paste 1 tsp cook for 1 minute. Then add cumin powder, tomato puree, chilli, salt to taste, sugar and thyme cook for 5 minutes then discard the thyme then add marinated chicken and mix well and cover and cook for 10 minutes in a slow flame.Then check the chicken, when turns tender, add cashew nuts paste and water, mix well.
  3. Again cook for 5 minutes, serve hot with steam rice and roti.

Canned soup in the sauce gives this an artificial taste. I'll do the the work and make the "old fashioned" recipe. Chicken and broccoli are smothered with our rich and delicious Cream of Chicken soup.. Chicken Divan was a chicken casserole that I grew up eating. My mom was a casserole queen, and this one was in regular rotation.
