- For tempering heat small kadhai and add ghee, mustard, cumin,cloves, cinnamon, when starts cracking add garlic, asafoetida, curry leaves and turn off gas and add red chilli powder, immediately pour in boiled dal and cover for a while. Lastly add lemon juice and mix well.
- Serve tasty trevaty dal in a bowl and garnish with chopped coriander & curry leaves stem.
